Fireworks legoland

Imagine you are on vacation in Southern California and realizes that not enough time to visit all seven world-class theme parks. What to do? Given how much there is to see and live in So Cal, not a mad dilemma.

First, Can you name the major theme parks? It's like appointing Seven Dwarfs or Santa's reindeer. There Disneyland (California Adventure for a park worthy of its own), Knott's Berry Farm (the oldest parks), Universal Studios Hollywood, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Sea World and Legoland (for minors).

The first idea is to strike at Disneyland Resort, after all, have not visited the original United Magic? But there's a good chance that you've been to Disneyland and perhaps should broaden their horizons, try something new. So let's make a brief comparison between Disneyland and one of the most probable, for example, Universal Studios Hollywood (USH).

USH has a distinct personality and offer an experience that not found in Anaheim. The theme park was built around a workshop and a defining feature is the study tour. You can also purchase a VIP tour that really immerses in creating movies. Disney offers none of that.

Disney is, in fact, careful all about creating and maintaining this fantasy of the FAA § ade, a wonderful world where the activities are intended to hide behind the scenes of the "guests". Universal Studios delights in the magic behind the scenes. The Studio Tour, Waterworld Stunt Show and other shows smaller can see the stage again very clearly.

Both parks use sympathetic characters in the public relations department. Disneyland has the seven dwarfs; USH was Ghostbusters. Goofy Anaheim, Hollywood, Homer Simpson. Minnie Mouse to Disneyland and he responded by Betty Boop. Disney Movies vs. Universal Pictures. He is Indiana Jones vs. Revenge of the Mummy.

Anaheim has, you catch the fireworks at night and the Fantasmic show in Hollywood you catch the Blues Brothers tribute. For shopping, dining and entertainment street is Downtown Disney … or there Universal City Walk. In general, Disney wins no doubt, but Universal Studios gives them a run for their money.

Their holiday program may affect your decision. You probably the best part of two days to really see Disneyland. One day, while USH more likely to work unless the lines are very long. You may be frustrated by a single day, in Anaheim, especially with next to Disney California Adventure (which do not even mention here). Conclusion: If you do not really have enough time to do justice Magic Kingdom, which may be an appeal better to have a great day at Universal Studios.

Both parks offer fun for visitors of all ages. But I find it also to USH for very small businesses. On a hot summer day, Universal could be severe, with children in strollers. They do not like spending so much time on the circuit or software for your older children. Also, Disneyland is more expensive in general. If budget is an important issue, Universal Studios could save some money.
